We do life together
At Ridgewood Park Church, we do life together as a church family. Join us at one of our many opportunities to connect: Wednesday Night Live, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Adult Ministry and Music Ministries. See below to learn more!
Wednesday Night Live
Just like any family gathering at your house, people tend to gather in the kitchen. With eager hands to help, and lots of mouths ready to be “taste testers”, Wednesday Night Live is just like a family get-together at your house!
We are so thankful for the estate gift of Nancy Birdsong and the sale of the parsonage a few years ago that has provided the funds to remodel our kitchen, to the trustees who oversaw the contractors, and to those who have purchased new kitchen items for the kitchen. You are invited to gather with us on Wednesday Nights for dinner and fellowship, while we continue to dream of new ways to use this gathering place!
Dinner served at 6:00 p.m. followed by Children’s choir and Bible Study with Bill or Sara. $5 per person/$20 family max.
We have a vibrant children’s program for infants through 6th graders. Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings for our youngest. Sunday School classes, Wednesday Night Live activities, Children’s Choir, and numerous other programs are offered year-round.
For more information contact our youth & children’s director, Sara Orr.
Weekday Programs for Children
Ridgewood Park Preschool and Parent’s Day Out provides Monday through Friday programs for children from 1 year old through pre-K. The play-based, rich curriculum – always developmentally appropriate – is focused on social, emotional and academic development to support each unique child as they play, learn and grow.

Our diverse youth group attracts youth from across the metroplex who attend a wide range of public and private schools. All 7th through 12th grade students are invited every Sunday from 6:15 p.m to 8:00 p.m. In the dedicated youth area loft, youth eat dinner together and enjoy fellowship and devotional time.
For more information contact our youth director, Sara Orr.
Family is important to us and we have many ways to encourage and nurture spiritual growth among our adults. We offer dedicated Bible study classes, United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men, and other diverse groups to connect adults in spiritual growth.

We love to sing and to praise God through music!
Musical groups for every age and stage teach the art of singing and encourage personal, musical worship of God. Our groups also enjoy fun and fellowship together throughout the year. Groups include:
The Chancel Choir
Classical organ repertoire to African percussion and everything in between can be heard on occasion during worship at Ridgewood Park Church.
We offer something for everyone who wants to learn, have fun, explore their musical talents and make a joyful noise to the Lord!
